ENTOMOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Introduction

The department of Entomology has established in 1977 on the separation from the Department of Plant Protection. Currently, the department has nine staffs, including four Associate Professors - PhDs, two PhDs, two Masters and one technician. The teaching staffs are well-trained in developed countries for science and technology including the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Russia, Australia, Japan, and China. The department principal duty is providing professional training for engineers, masters and doctoral students in the fields of plant protection, crop science, and biotechnology. The Department of Entomology is the Vietnamese leading organization for training, scientific research and technology transfer purposes in the field of plant protection.
